Rob Reiner, Legendary Hollywood Actor and Director, Found Dead at 78
The actor and his wife was found dead in their home. LAPD is investigating it as a possible murder.
Authorities have confirmed that actor and director Rob Reiner, and his wife Michele Reiner, were killed in their own home, according to Variety.
Initially reported by NBC Los Angeles, two people aged 78 and 68 were found dead inside a Brentwood home owned by director and actor Rob Reiner.
The authorities have since confirmed that the deceased were Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle Reiner. According to the LAPD, the couple was reported to have been stabbed to death.
Rob Reiner was a filmmaker and actor known for films such as “A Few Good Men,” “This is a Spinal Tap,” and “When Harry Met Sally.”
And has also appeared in films such as “The Wolf of Wall Street” and starred in 185 episodes of the TV Series “All in the Family” between 1971 and 1979.
He is the son of the writer, director, and comedian Carl Reiner, who passed away in 2020.
Rob Reiner’s most recent film, “Spinal Tap II: The End Continues,” was a sequel to the classic 1984 movie.
Nick Reiner, Rob and Michele’s son, is the main suspect in the killing, according to People Magazine.

Nick Reiner has been open about struggling with addiction and homelessness, a story that was loosely adapted into the semi-autobiographical film “Being Charlie,” also directed by Rob Reiner and co-written by Nick.
