Nick Reiner Held on $4 Million Bail on Suspicion of Killing his Parents

The 32-year-old son of the deceased has been named the main suspect in the murder of his parents.

Nick Reiner was arrested Sunday night at 9:15 p.m. and booked on a felony charge on Monday at 5:04 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department online records. According to Variety.

LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell confirmed during a press conference Monday morning that Nick Reiner had been booked for murder. His bail has been set at $4 million.

This report came hours after multiple family members had alleged that Nick was behind the killing.

Nick Reiner has previously disclosed that he’s been struggling with addiction since his early teens and co-wrote the 2015 film “Being Charlie,” which is loosely based on his experience. The film was also directed by his father, Rob Reiner.
