Game awards 2025, Creative Assembly announces new Total War game set in the warhammer 40k universe

A widely anticipated title that many fans have been looking forward to after the success of their Warhammer Fantasy trilogy of Total War games, the studio took some time to show off their trailer for their next entry, taking things to the stars in their first Sci Fi Total War game.

Gameplay details are sparse, but there were glimpses of the tactical combat that the Total War series is known for, as well as a spin on their usual overworld map with entire planets and spaceships, as would be required for the sci fi setting.

Several different factions were also shown off, including a brief flash of many different possible Space Marine chapters, suggesting either a plethora of Space Marine factions, or significant customization for Space Marine units.
